EarlyFinish started with a simple gripe: the job’s done, the board’s tested, everyone’s happy - and you’re still typing up certs at the kitchen table long after the job’s done. We thought the paperwork should finish when the job does.
The kitchen-table second shift had to go.
If you run your own books as a sole-trader sparky, you know the drill. The actual graft finishes on site. Then the second shift starts - re-typing circuit schedules, chasing the right model form, getting the invoice out, remembering the re-inspection. Evenings and Sundays vanish into admin nobody pays you properly for.
We built EarlyFinish so that doesn’t have to be your life. Photograph the board and your BS 7671 cert auto-fills - EICR, EIC or Minor Works. Raise a proper UK VAT invoice with a Stripe pay link before you leave. Snap receipts for expenses and let the scan sort them. The diary books your re-inspections so you don’t have to keep them in your head. And because it’s an offline PWA, none of it falls over when the signal does.
The mission’s a short one: give UK sole-trader electricians their evenings back.
